Wuhan Tongji Hospital, a modern comprehensive tertiary Grade A hospital with a profound history and excellent medical strength, was founded in Shanghai in 1900 by German doctor Baolong. It moved to Wuhan in 1955 with Tongji University Medical College and is now affiliated with Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
